Karen looks at documenting and recording the passing of time and the histories of buildings and landscapes. Fascinated by the patterns and formations to be found in architectural structures, Karen’s latest work explores the Art Deco movement. She explores the futuristic style and the decorative and colourful geometric shapes on the building facades not only in appreciation of their aesthetic design, but also as a contribution to history and heritage.
