For Danny, photography is an art of observation. It is a beautiful way of seeing and capturing moments in life and preserving them forever. Danny’s work mostly focuses on cultural and political documentary projects and events from the music and theatre industry. Her latest project looks into the role of photography in preserving folk rituals. In particular, the project follows the forgotten spiritual honouring of the life cycle within her native roots - exploring early Bulgarian traditions.
